I am visiting WDW at the beginning of June. I was wondering if there are a lot of bees and stinging insects in FL?? My mother is allergic to stinging bugs and I was wondering if the First Aid stations have stuff to help her if she is stung (i.e. Benadryl?

    Howdy Jessica!

As you can imagine there are a variety of flying, stinging bugs in Florida.  They have a booming mosquito crop as well!  I've been countless times and seen bees, but never experienced a sting while there, but with your mother's allergy I'd be SURE to keep some Benadryl on hand in case of a sting.  While the First Aid Centers do have Benadryl available, it could be quite a walk to get there, especially if she is experiencing an allergic reaction--time is precious!

I don't know how severe your mother's allergy is, but if it is severe enough to require an epi-pen, I'd make sure to have one of those with you at all times as well

Ultimately, I'd recommend that your mother speak with her doctor about any concerns she has with a potential scenario and make a plan for treatment and share that with the family so that everyone is aware.

Thanks for stopping by and have a MAGICAL vacation!
