Hi Gary,
It's nice to see you dropping by planDisney with a question!
It sounds like your teenager has an exciting trip coming up to the Walt Disney World Resort and so do you! I was in a similar situation with one teenager on a trip with another program while her sister, my mom, and I stayed in a separate
Disney Resorts Collection hotel. My daughter
set up her own My Disney Experience account and had her Annual Pass linked to her account. Your son should be able to do the same since any guest 13-years old or older can set-up their own My Disney Experience account. As long as the theme park tickets have not been used, you should be able to transfer them. If you have trouble setting up the new account and/or transferring the tickets, please
call to speak to a cast member in Website Support.
Looking at your trip dates, they are coming up soon! I can imagine the happy dances happening in your household! I trust you have secured some
advanced dining reservations. My teenagers still love character meals.
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera and
Tusker House Restaurant are two of our favorites. If you have some extra time, I also suggest a special activity from the
Enchanting Extras Collection. Our girls loved the
Caring for Giants and
Up Close with Rhinos experiences at Disney's Animal Kingdom.
Gary, I hope this helps! One last tip - make sure your son has a credit card linked in his My Disney Experience account in case he needs to do
mobile food & beverage ordering. I trust that all of you will love being in the middle of the magic!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
