    We are visiting WDW in August for a week for the first time. Our travel times are flexible. Right now, we are debating arriving on a Sunday or Monday? Please advise which day is better or is there another day that makes more sense to arrive?

    Hi Candace - as you may guess, on an average week, the weekends tend to be busier.  I prefer to do my arriving and departing on the weekend, that way I am at the parks during the slower, mid-week days.

    My family typically arrives on a Sunday, and departs on Friday or Saturday.  We usually hang around at the resort on the first day, and then are well rested and ready to go by Monday morning.
