    We are visiting WDW in August & staying at the WL. We are trying to plan our dining reservations & have a question about transportation. We want to make breakfast reservations at Kona Cafe. What is the earliest time buses would run from WL to th

    Hi Jennifer,

    Oh, you're in for a wonderful vacation if you're staying at Disney's Wilderness Lodge!  It's my favorite resort in the whole world. 

    Getting to the Kona Cafe on the second floor of the Great Ceremonial House at Disney's Polynesian Resort is easy and fun.  Simply board a bus headed to the Magic Kingdom.  (These buses start running one hour before the Magic Kingdom opens).  Then transfer to a boat or monorail headed to Disney's Polynesian Resort.  Allow yourself an hour to get from your point of origin to your destination.  (You may need to wait for a few minutes until the next bus, boat, or monorail arrives). 

    Another, much quicker option is to take a cab ride (for less than $10) from the front of Disney's Wilderness Lodge to the front of Disney's Polynesian Resort.  That's a great option if you're short on time.
