    We are visiting WDW in august for my daughters 6th birthday. Is it worth it to get the disney dining plan? We are going to be there for 3 days.. any suggestions as to how to make the trip really special for my girl?

    Hi Dhanya! I can't think of a more magical place to celebrate a birthday then Walt Disney World. As far as the dining plan goes it is a personal choice. Many guests like that their vacation is basically paid in full by the time they arrive and others prefer to choose dining as they go and not have to count credits. My family does not use the dining plan but many others love it.  We find that sometimes you are doing nothing but eating when on a plan and thus we choose to select one table service restaurant per day to make advanced reservations for.  Whatever you decide please know that you should make a few advanced dining reservations so you will have some wonderful meals while at Disney.

    Pick a place to dine for the special birthday meal. Perhaps in the castle or with the princesses at Akershus in Norway.  Order a cake ahead of time. Most restaurants have cakes available on demand but if you order one ahead you can make it a bit more special. Consider an appointment for Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for your little princess.  One of the most magical experiences is the My Perfectly Princess Tea at the Grand Floridian where you and your daughter will enjoy lunch and a meet and greet with Aurora. She will be given a princess doll to take home and remind her of all the dreams and memories.

    Consider a fireworks cruise for the family and arrange to have a cake and drinks to celebrate on the water. There are numerous things to choose from...check out all of them by clicking HERE. Enjoy!
