How thrilling to be planning a Grand Adventure with your sweet grandchildren this spring! Your grandchildren are perfect ages to make unforgettable and magical memories together with you. I'm happy you will have 4 day tickets because this means you will be able to visit each of the four theme parks: Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom. I think you will enjoy visiting each theme park for 1 full day each and personally I enjoy visiting Magic Kingdom first because most Guests associate its icon, Cinderella Castle, with the magic of Walt Disney World.
The first thing you should do is familiarize yourself with Disney's FastPass+ Service. I recommend looking at the different attractions with your grandchildren and picking out your FastPass+ selections together. You should also make a list of other attractions you wish to experience and plan on visiting those using the standby lines. Next you should decide upon which Table-Service restaurants you wish to dine in and make your reservations as soon as possible. I personally like to have one "sit down" meal per day, usually lunch or early dinner, to give my family a rest period and a chance to discuss the fun we have had.
My final advice is to schedule some "rest time" each day. There is so much to see and do that it is sometimes difficult to leave the theme parks and take a siesta, but it is crucial to making happy memories. My family loves to arrive early and then leave mid-afternoon to go back to our Resort hotel for about 3 hours for some rest.
Have a Magical and Grand Adventure!
