I will be visiting WDW in April 2018. How can I find out what rides will be closed during my visit?

Hi, Gary! Thank you for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

How exciting to be visiting Walt Disney World Resort in the springtime! Epcot is transformed into a colorful canvas with majestic topiaries found throughout the Theme Park, culinary delights found at fresh food kiosks and fantastic spring weather! I hope you are planning on stopping by the 2018 Epcot® International Flower & Garden Festival

The Disney Parks Blog is a great resource that lists refurbishments, however for a complete list, I would actually recommend a quick Google Search as there are many unofficial fan websites that tend to have elaborate lists of closures with dates. Keep in mind that because these are unofficial, they are subject to change. You can also find current Disney Resort hotel refurbishments on these third-party websites.

When you make your FastPass+ Reservations up to 60 days before arrival if staying at a Disney Resort hotel, or 30 days before if staying elsewhere with a valid Disney Theme Park Ticket, only Attractions that are currently running will be listed. If it is a known closure, there won’t be the option to add it to your FastPass+ Reservations. Keep in mind that Attractions can close for unforeseen reasons and at the last minute.

I hope this helps you with your planning! Please come back and visit us again soon!
