Visiting WDW in April. The 2nd of April we will be n Magic Kingdom and have booked Citricos for dinner at 7:25pm. Citricos has a dress code so I will be leaving MK to Pop Century and back to the Grand Floridian. What time approx shoul I leave MK?

    Hi Olga,

According to the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World, it will take anywhere from 24 to 34 minutes to get from the Magic Kingdom to Pop Century.  With needing a round-trip, you'll want to count on at least one hour of travel time for that trip.  Then, it will take 6-7 minutes to get from the Magic Kingdom to the Grand Floridian.  Considering the additional time at your resort to change, I'm thinking you'll want to allow at least two hours of travel time; thus, you'll need to leave by 5:25 pm.  If you'd prefer to shorten this time, you could always opt to take a taxi from Pop Century directly to the Grand Floridian.

However, I'm a bit obsessive about travel time and arriving late; so if I were in your position, I'd probably leave by 5:00 pm. If you do arrive early at the Grand Floridian, there is plenty to do there with all the speciality shops and lobby activity.

Wishing you a lovely dinner and magical trip!  Please let us know if we can help again.
