Hi! Visiting w/DH, DD8, DS4, GM & GF 18-24 Oct (DD & GM's b-days 18th & 23rd!). Trying for Fantasmic, but everyone wants to eat at Sci-Fi (not a dinner/ticket option). If I go ahead early to Fant. w/disabled son, can they join me?

If you are asking if you and the one son can eat at a Fantasmic Dinner Package and have the rest of your party join you in that specially saved seating, then technically no, you have to have a pass to get in to that area.

But I have a better solution for you. At the time in October when you are going the crowds are on the lighter side. Besides, the seating offered by the Fantastic Dinner Package is not the best available, as it is down low, but off to the side.

What I recommend instead of trying to "sneak" the rest of the family in to your seats (which while not officially allowed is doable), is that you go to eat wherever you want (like the Sci-Fi), and then get in the regular line for Fantasmic. You should be able to get decent seats if you get in the line around 30-45 minutes beforehand.

It may not be what you wanted to hear, but I think that based on the time of year that you are visiting you should not feel compelled to try to jump through hoops to have a great dinner and still get to watch the fireworks.

    Have a magical vacation!
