Jambo, Karen! Welcome back to planDisney! I'm so happy to see you here with another fantastic planning question.
You are someone after my own Disney-planning heart! My family and I love enjoying meals outdoors, whether we are at home or Walt Disney World. I am always on the hunt for a restaurant with a great deck or patio for outdoor dining, and I'm more than happy to answer your question and share some of my favorites!
While the large windows may make you feel as if you're dining on the savanna (and while this is one of my very favorite restaurants at Disney World), there is no outdoor seating at
Sanaa. There is a beautiful, peaceful sitting area with rocking chairs and a fire pit overlooking the savanna right outside of the restaurant, and this is a great place to relax and catch a glimpse of some animals while you're waiting for your table or after your fantastic meal.
If you're looking for outdoor dining at Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village, I recommend the
Maji Pool Bar. This pool area is one of the best in all of Walt Disney World, and the food here is unique and delicious. You can also find some outdoor seating next door at
The Mara at Animal Kingdom Lodge, and the food here is phenomenal. The Zebra Domes are a must!
While most of the Quick Service dining locations around the parks and Resorts have outdoor seating, some of my favorite Table Service restaurants with outdoor seating are
Tony's Town Square Restaurant in Magic Kingdom,
Rose and Crown Dining Room in EPCOT,
Nomad Lounge in Animal Kingdom,
The Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge in Hollywood Studios, and
The Boathouse in Disney Springs. When you check in at these dining locations, just request a table outdoors. While you may have to wait longer, the Cast Members will do everything they can to make your outdoor dining dreams come true.
I hope this helps, Karen, and I hope you have the most magical and memorable adventure, full of delicious food and fun! Please feel free to stop by with any questions you may have. You've got a (foodie) friend in me!
Bon appétit,
Mandy
