Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering not only does that, but it is also a convenient tool that allows us to place meal orders anytime, anywhere! Here are the steps you need to follow to use a
Disney Gift Card or a
Disney Gift Card e-Gift to pay for purchases made with Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering:
While using the My Disney Experience mobile app, tap the plus sign located at the bottom of the screen. Select
Order Food, choose an available arrival window at one of the participating locations, and proceed with building your order. After selecting items from the menu, tap
View My Order, and if you are ready to place it select
Review Order Summary. Scroll down to confirm your order and select
Continue to Checkout where you will be able to select a Disney Gift Card as a payment method. Tap the plus sign right next to
Add a Card, select Disney Gift Card, enter the 16-digit card number, tap
Save to finalize your purchase, and voilá!
Please note that the app will not save your Disney Gift Card information, so you will have to provide a card number each time you place new orders. Only one card can be applied per order, but it can be used in combination with another credit or debit card to complete your purchase – this is the perfect opportunity to use any gift cards you might have at home holding small remaining balances.
planDisney tips: I recommend trying to place an order at home using the app and going through all the steps up to payment - this will give you the chance to practice and find your way around the My Disney Experience mobile app before your visit. It is also important to keep the latest version of the app on your mobile device with location services, notifications and Bluetooth enabled.
