Hi! we are visiting Walt Disney World from 2-5 May 2019. I do not plan to buy a magic band. In that case, is my Disney app good enough for entry and fast pass? Also, we are from India, would we be asked to show our passports at the entrance?

Hi Vidhya! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You must be thrilled to visit the Walt Disney World Resort soon! No matter how many times I visit, I get just as excited as I countdown to our next vacation. There is so much to see and experience!

When visiting the theme parks, you will need either a MagicBand or a card that acts as your ticket. The card is complimentary. If you purchase your tickets online, you will need to pick-up your tickets (card) at either a Walt Disney World theme park ticket window, Will Call, or Guest Relations. If you are picking up your pre-purchased tickets, you will want to bring your photo identification (passport) on the first day to pick them up. If you are not pre-purchasing your tickets and will instead purchase them when you arrive, you will receive your ticket at that time.

Once you enter the theme parks on the first day, your fingerprint will act as your identification to enter the theme parks and you shouldn't need your photo identification at that point. Your card will also be your entry into any FastPass+ attractions that you have selected. Once you link your tickets to your My Disney Experience account, you can use the My Disney Experience mobile app to select FastPass+. There are also kiosks located in the theme parks for selecting and modifying FastPass+ throughout the day.

I hope I have helped answer your questions, Vidhya! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
