    We are visiting Walt Disney World the last week in April! And my two little boys are so excited...so is Mom! :) My question is about the weather....how should I pack, will they be able to swim, rainfall likely?, etc! All the things a Mom thinks about! Thx!

    Hi Jennifer,

    I, like you, can never quite tell who is more excited as our Disney vacations get closer:  my children or me!  The weather at the end of April is generally absolutely lovely.  Average afternoon highs are in the 80s, which in my opinion, is perfect for both exploring the parks and enjoying your resort pool.  The pools at all the Disney resorts and the two water parks (Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon) are heated, so when the sun is out, the water is perfect!  As for packing, I would recommend bringing along some light jackets or sweatshirts that you can quickly take on or off in the mornings and evenings, as occasionally, it can still be a bit chilly. I would also pack shorts/capri pants, comfortable shoes and hats for everyone in your family.  You might want to include some long pants for dinner.   Rainfall in April is usually very light, however, it doesn't hurt to stop by your local dollar store and pick up a few ponchos just in case.
