    We'll be visiting Walt Disney World this June and staying at the Port Orleans Riverside. I understand the kayak and boat rentals have closed down at this hotel. Is there somewhere else we could go? What's the best way to get there via disney transport?

    Hi Emily,

    It's always fun to take advantage of the extra amenities and recreation Walt Disney World Resort has to offer. Although the theme parks are a blast, sometimes taking an afternoon off from the crowds to enjoy a relaxing activity at one of the resorts.

    I'm happy to tell you that you can still rent kayaks and boats, among other recreation options at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. To get there from Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort, I recommend taking a bus to either Epcot or Magic Kingdom and then making a transfer to a bus bound for Fort Wilderness. You will want to allow about 45-60 minutes for this.
