Will be visiting Walt Disney World at the end of February with my 18 year old son who has Autism. Do I (hopefully) obtain a DAS card? get a Fast Pass Card? and we would qualify for Florida resident discover disney offer. So confusing, feeling overwhelmed.

    Hello, Sharyl!

Please don't feel overwhelmed, we are here to answer your questions so you can focus on planning a magical trip for your family!

FastPass+ is a service that is included with your theme park admission. You can schedule three attractions per day 30-60 days prior to your arrival. After your initial three FastPass+ selections have been used, you can reserve more (one at a time) by visiting a FastPass+ kiosk.  This is a great way to secure a few of your son's must-do attractions prior to your arrival.
If your son cannot wait in a regular queue, you can request a Disability Access Service (DAS) card from any theme park Guest Relations. There, a Cast Member will be able to assist you based upon your son's individual needs. A DAS Card allows your son (and up to 5 Guests) to obtain a return time to an attraction based on the posted wait time. We have found that grabbing a snack, taking a restroom break or doing a little shopping distracts our son from the wait.  After you finish the attraction, you can obtain another return time for a different attraction. The good news is you can use both FastPass+ and the DAS Card to help your son tour the parks.

If you are a Florida resident, then you would qualify for the Florida Resident Discovery Tickets offer. You can find more information and details about this offer by clicking here.

I hope this helps to answer your questions. Please know we are here to help you! Let us know if we can answer further planning questions.

    Happy planning!
