We are visiting Walt Disney World again this year in September so excited my question is can you walk through the base of the Tree of Life. Having seen photos on Disneys website.

    Hello Jennifer,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another great question!

One of my little guy’s absolute favourite things to do at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park is explore all of the nooks and crannies of the Tree of Life. It’s more than just the Park’s breathtaking iconic symbol; the Discovery Island Trails take you all around and, in some places, through parts of the Tree’s roots to let you get up close and personal with its beautiful carvings. There are also some animal habitats located along these Trails, too. Don’t forget that you can also go “inside” the Tree to experience It’s Tough to Be a Bug... if you don’t mind getting cozy with some creepy crawly friends!

I hope my answer helps you and your family have a wild time at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park this September. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne

As Disney Vacation Club members, we often plan trips for large, and sometimes even multi-generational, groups to come and enjoy the fun with us. Learn More About Lynne
