Visiting 5/10. Visiting mostly MK, AK, and Epcot. Staying in Cabins. How long on average does it take to travel from Cabins to each park using Disney transportation? Do we take multiple buses? This is our 1st trip, so it is all new. Thx.

I just returned from a stay at the Fort Wilderness cabins and loved it!  The easiest way to get around is to rent a golf cart for your stay. It is pricey as the daily rental is between $50-$60 but for us it was worth the extra money.

If you choose not to use a golf cart then you will catch the internal bus that will take you to the front bus area where you will find all the buses to all parks and Downtown Disney.  We rarely waited long but sometimes you might just miss a bus for a park and thus it will take about 20 minutes for the next one to arrive.

These are the approximate times from the Fort Wilderness front bus area to the parks:
    Animal Kingdom: 24 minutes
    Hollywood Studios: 18 minutes
    EPCOT: 21 minutes

To reach the Magic Kingdom you would catch the internal bus to the Settlement where you will find the marina and the boat launches for that park.  That is an approximate 16 minute ride.

Enjoy the "Fort" and make sure you visit the horses in the Disney stables!
