Visiting Vero Beach resort in June. Is the spa open yet? If so, how far in advance can we make reservations? Do we call the resort directly to book spa? Also, do you know when they will reopen the Goofy character breakfast and pirate dinner experiences?

Hello, Amanda and welcome to planDisney!

Amanda, when I saw this question I knew I just had to answer because I too will be enjoying a summer stay at Disney's Vero Beach Resort! I'm already counting the days until I can kick back and relax at Mickey Mouse's favorite Florida beach resort.

Now, speaking of relaxing, there is no better way than to book a spa appointment and I'm happy to share that the Spa at Disney's Vero Beach Resort is open and servicing guests. I spoke with a Cast Member at the spa who let me know that a few treatments haven't returned, but you are welcome to book a massage, pedicure or manicure! She also let me know that most guests book approximately one month in advance (but that sometimes same-day appointments can be accomodated) by calling (772) 234-2050. Please note that face coverings are required during your spa treatment.

Amanda, no matter my destination, food is always my number one priority on vacation, so let's talk about the specialty options at Disney's Vero Beach Resort. Currently we don't have a date as to when Goofy’s Beachside Character Breakfast or the Pirate Night Dinner at Seagrape might return. As my family would be more delighted than the croc chasing Captain Hook to enjoy these "extras," I'll be crossing my fingers that we see their return before your trip.

Amanda, if you have any additional questions, please come on back to planDisney. We would be delighted to SEA you again!
