Welcome to planDisney, Helen!
As Princess Tiana says, “Beignets? Got me a fresh batch just waitin’ for you.” And honestly, that’s exactly how it feels at
Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter! My wife and I love grabbing a warm batch of beignets from
Scat Cat’s Club – Café and taking a relaxed evening walk along the Sassagoula River. There’s just something magical about that golden-hour glow over the water. And there’s even the option of a horse-drawn carriage ride to add a little fairy-tale flair to your evening. To cap off the night, we often swing by
Scat Cat’s Club – Lounge to unwind with a cocktail—I'm a big fan of the Sazerac—and enjoy some incredible live jazz. It really is one of the most romantic and charming spots on Disney property. Helen, I know you’re going to have such a brilliant time there!
And it’s super easy to have groceries delivered right to your resort, so you’ll have all your essentials ready when you arrive. You can even set up the order days (or weeks) in advance, which makes planning your trip that much smoother. Some of the most popular delivery options include Instacart, Amazon Fresh, Walmart Grocery, and Whole Foods. There are also Disney-friendly local services like Dizzy Dolphin, Garden Grocer, and Vacation Delivery Service that are known for following Disney’s labeling rules and procedures closely. Just be sure to include your full name and resort info in the delivery address: 2201 Orleans Drive, Lake Buena Vista, Florida 32830-8424.
Your groceries will be dropped off at
Bell Services and kept safe (refrigerated items too!) until you’re ready to pick them up. One thing to keep in mind: if you’re ordering alcohol, you’ll need to be there in person with your ID.
I hope that's helpful, Helen. As we say in Liverpool, "Have a proper boss time!"
Mike
