Hi there, Andrew!
Thanks for bringing your practically perfect question from across the Pond to us at planDisney. With a summer vacation planned at
Walt Disney World Resort, I'm sure you agree that some places are worth melting for, and The Most Magical Place on Earth is definitely one of them.
If you enjoy getting a head start on your Disney vacation planning, you're in good company here! I did some searching, Andrew, and the reason you haven't been able to locate the
Hours & Events Calendar for August is that it hasn't been released. In my experience, Walt Disney World typically releases theme park hours about three months in advance, so I would suggest checking back in May. Of course, just because you can't yet make time-sensitive reservations, doesn't mean you are unable to keep planning. Use this time to peruse the
menus,
special events, and
Enchanting Extras so that you are prepared to make your selections
as soon as they are available.
Since Florida summers are a bit warmer than those in Yorkshire, be sure to pack a reusable water bottle so that you can stay hydrated during your theme park days. My favorite methods of cooling down on hot summer days in The Most Magical Place on Earth include a dip in the pool at my
Disney Resort hotel, grabbing a
DOLE Whip, and making time for indoor attractions and shows such as
Pirates of the Caribbean,
Mickey's PhilharMagic, and
Festival of the Lion King.
I hope this was helpful, Andrew, and that you have a wonderful vacation. Don't hesitate to
drop back by if any additional questions arise as you are planning.
Cheers to 2024,
Lizzie
