I will be visiting in two weeks and have heard many talk about "rope drop". What is it?

    Hi Kerri!

Rope drop simply means park opening.  Getting to the parks for "rope drop" means you will be getting there before the park opens and you will be one of the first guests to enter the park for that day.  The parks hold guests towards the front of the parks and usually have some kind of opening ceremony every morning.  Magic Kingdom's rope drop has a song and dance show above on the train station where the Mayor of the Magic Kingdom welcomes the guests for the day.  If you can make it there early enough, this is a fun experience!  I'm usually still sleeping.  :D

    Have a magical day!
