I will be visiting in two weeks with my family. I had no idea how quickly the "Be Our Guest" would book up. Has anyone had any luck with getting in without reservations? Everything is booked and we paid for table service. Not sure what to do.

    Hi Ashley!

With your vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort just two weeks away I bet that you are really starting to get excited! When our trip is just a few weeks away I love to start a paper chain countdown with my kids. They love taking turns each morning taking a link off and every day they say “Yay we are one more day closer to Mickey!”

Be Our Guest Restaurant is a very popular restaurant. Each time I have visited the food and service has been absolutely superb. The atmosphere inside of the restaurant makes you feel like you have been transported right into the Beauty and the Beast movie. Obviously dining reservations are highly recommended. People do start booking these reservations 180 days before their check-in day. There is a possibility that you may be able to walk up and be seated but for the dinner seating I have heard that this is very hit or miss. As a matter of fact on my last visit I was not able to secure a walk up reservation.

I do have some suggestions for you though that may help you to get a reservation even though your trip is just a couple of weeks away. Keep checking reservations daily, even during your stay. A lot of guests do tend to cancel dining reservations last minute to avoid the charge if they just don’t show up. Another thing that you could do is look for a breakfast or lunch seating. Both breakfast and lunch are considered quick service meals. You get to experience all of the delicious food and the atmosphere without having to sit for a longer meal.  If any of these don’t work for you I do still encouraged you to walk up to the podium and ask if they can accommodate your party.

I hope that you get to “Be Our Guest!”
