Hi! We are visiting for the 1st time and we are traviling with a 5yr old and 2 yr old twins. I have heard staying at a hotel with the monarail is easiest with a stroller. Which hotels does the monarail stop at? Which do you recommed on a budget? THANKS

Staying on the monorail line is definitely convenient when touring Walt Disney World with small children. This is especially advantageous if you plan on spending a lot of time at the Magic Kingdom.

    The monorail hotels are:
    Contemporary Resort
    Polynesian Resort
    Grand Floridian Resort and Spa

These hotels are among the priciest at Walt Disney World due to their location on the monorail and their deluxe amenities. With small children I would opt for the Polynesian or the Grand Floridian. Both of these hotels are magical and memorable.

I can still remember our son enjoying the Polynesian's volcano pool while watching the fireworks. The first time our son stayed at the Grand Floridian he was just 2 years old. He still loves the pool, beach, monorail, boat and seems in awe over the grand lobby.

You will find the monorail hotels less expensive during WDW's value season.
