Visiting for 1st time (9/08) with 3 kids (4,6,8). Have already made ADRs; late breakfasts (10:05, 10:30), early dinners (4:35, 5:00, 5:10, 5:35). I have read the ADRs are not actually reservations, but are preferred seating. Should we expect long waits?

Hey Cristy!  I certainly wouldn't worry about the wait times, especially during the periods in which you booked your reservations.  In all of our meals at WDW, my family has never had to wait an unreasonable amount of time for our table.  I think the longest wait we ever experienced was at the princess breakfast at Akershus in Norway, but even that was only maybe 15-20 minutes.  I don't know about you but I've had to wait twice that amount of time at Olive Garden on a Saturday night.  Because your reservations don't fall during peak dining hours, you should be pretty safe.  Just be sure to check in at the podium about 5 minutes before your reservation time.  Enjoy your meals!

Meet the Panelist: Darcie, Alabama

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
