We are big fans of Cirque du Soleil, so our sons have been enjoying many of the shows since they were toddlers. However, every child differs in how well s/he sits through shows. I'd recommend visiting cirquedusoleil.com and viewing a clip of the show to see if it looks like your children would enjoy it. Also, Netflix has the dvd of La Nouba available to rent. However, the dvd version certainly pales in comparison to the live show, which is very family friendly and entertaining.
When we brought our children when they were toddlers, we did have a game plan in place just in case things didn't go well. We purchased our tickets so our seats were near an exit and an aisle, and at the slightest indication of a "toddler moment," I would take him and discreetly leave. I also brought some snacks as a distraction. However, we didn't have a problem!
As for dinner, we prefer going to an early show and then eating so that we don't have the pressure of arriving for the show at the right time. Dinner is much more relaxing not having to rush through it. La Nouba does has a concession stand in case your children would need some snacks to help keep their hunger at bay.
Your question was cut off early, so I'm not sure if you are searching for a restaurant recommendation. But I'll go ahead with one and suggest T-Rex. It is opening this fall and looks to be amazing, especially if anyone in your family is a dinosaur fan!
