If we visiting at the same time as some of our family and we are not staying at the same resort can we still go to their resort to visit and swim?

    Hi there, Kayla!

Many of the pools at the Walt Disney World Resort have instituted a wristband system; in order to get the wristband, you must show a Key to the World that identifies you as a Guest of that particular Resort.

This is particularly true of the pools at the Deluxe Resorts, where the theming and amenities are commensurate with the nightly room rate.

Many of the Moderate Resorts are adopting this policy as well. More and more of the pools, particularly, during the more crowded times of the year, are stepping up their identification checks to ensure that only Guests of that Resort are using the amenities of that Resort.

While some Resorts do not have this kind of measure, it is not typically permitted to use the facilities of a Resort besides your home Resort (this does not include experiences for which you would incur a cost: a meal, a spa service, a beverage). The Cast Members at the Resorts do reserve to ask any Guest for a Key to the World as confirmation of stay.

    See you later, celebrator,
