Hi will be visiting for 1st time with family 11/20-11/25. Kids are 12, 11 and 5 (youngest has down syndrome) We are staying at the Polynesian. Finding it over whelming making dinning reservations, planing park visits etc so far in advance. Any suggestions?

    Hi Wendee,

I know how you feel, there is so much to see and do and you can get caught up in that you don't want to miss a thing.  We have found that we are better at planning dining reservations and leaving our park options open.

The Polynesian is a fantastic resort, you will really enjoy your stay there.  With it being on the monorail line it will make getting around a bit easier.

Pick the restaurants you really would like to eat at and try to make your reservations online. If you run into any problems you can always call 407 WDW DINE.  Character dining is always fun and it saves time if you really wanted to see specific characters.  It is much easier to have them come to your table as opposed to waiting in line at the parks.

We usually start with the Magic Kingdom as our first park visit and then see what the group vote is for the next day/next park. If you can go to each park, I would recommend it. They are all so different.

Don't get stressed or overwhelmed. You will have a fantastic time even if you don't have a planned itinerary.  Once you arrive you will experience the magic that Disney is all about!!

Find the things that you really want to experience and then plan around that.

Wishing you a very magical vacation!
