    We are visiting Thanksgiving week of 2014. When does the candlelight ceremony begin? Thanks What day? We plan to eat at Epcot on Thanksgiving.

    Hi Russetta,

    The Candlelight Processional is a beautiful, moving performance and a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season. The official schedule and list of celebrity narrators haven't been announced yet, but normally, the first performance each year is on Friday night of Thanksgiving week.

    Like you, my family is already planning our meals and activities for our Thanksgiving visit. If you intend to eat at a table service restaurant on Thanksgiving, I recommend that you make your dining reservation as soon as they become available. Thanksgiving spots fill up quickly.

    Last year, we spent the day at Epcot, then went to Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge for dinner. We're still debating this year's holiday meal spot. There are so many good ones to choose from!
