    We will be visiting on thanksgiving day and the day before and we are wondering which restaurants are offering thanksgiving style meals? I have made reservations for the brown derby at HS but if there is a better option at MK I would love to know. Thanks!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am thrilled to hear that you are visiting Walt Disney World Resort on Thanksgiving! 

    Several restaurants are serving a Thanksgiving inspired meal on Thanksgiving Day. They are:

    • Akershus Royal Banquet Hall - Lunch and dinner
    • Biergarten Restaurant - Lunch and dinner
    • Coral Reef Restaurant - Lunch and dinner
    • Le Cellier Steakhouse - Lunch and dinner
    • Cape May Cafe - Dinner
    • Whispering Canyon Cafe - Lunch and dinner
    • California Grill - Dinner 
    • Rose & Crown Pub & Dining Room - Lunch & dinner
    • Sanaa - Lunch and dinner
    • Trail's End Restaurant - Brunch and dinner
    • Ale & Compass Restaurant - Brunch and dinner

    One of my favorite restaurants in Magic Kingdom is Liberty Tree Tavern. Its colonial charm and family style meal take me back in time whenever we dine there. If you move quickly and check consistently, you may be able to secure an advanced dining reservation. Also, remember that dining offerings are subject to change.

    Amanda, last November, the Disney Parks Blog published an article on Disney Parks Best Bites: November 2017 so keep your eye on the blog for updates. I also suggest that you consider doing a Candlelight Processional Dining Package. The storytelling and music remind me of the joy that the holiday season brings. For those few moments, I always feel the collective hope of humanity!
