Visiting over Thanksgiving, 2 adults, 3 kids (10,9 & 5) wondering what you would recommend for Thanksgiving Dinner, not sure if we want a buffet or regular table service, so if you could provide a recommendation for both that would be great! Thanks

    Hi Kimberly,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question.

I have the perfect recommendation for your family’s upcoming Thanksgiving feast at Walt Disney World Resort: dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern in Magic Kingdom Park. Not only do they serve a traditional turkey dinner with all of the trimmings (year round - woo hoo!), but it’s also a “Family Style” meal. To me, this is the perfect combination of a buffet and a “regular” table service meal, as it means that it’s “all you care to eat”, but you don’t have to worry about wrangling both food and kids in a buffet line. It truly is the best of both worlds!

A good second choice would be The Garden Grill at Epcot. It’s another great “Family Style” meal, only this one is a little less Thanksgiving-inspired. But, as an added bonus, it’s a Character Dining location, which can be lots of fun for everyone too. A picture with Farmer Mickey on Thanksgiving seems like a fun way to celebrate!

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions about your upcoming vacation.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
