Hi, we are visiting in the summer. I have ME / chronic fatigue syndrome and wondered if I would qualify for your Disability Access Service? And if so what proof/documents would I need to bring. Many thanks, Kathy

Hello Kathryn and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel where as the current British Mum it truly makes me happy to be able to offer some pixie dusted advice concerning your 2019 jolly summer holiday plans to visit the magic of Walt Disney World Resort - after all there's never been a more enchanting time to go!
As one of my own teenagers suffers with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (M.E) I can completely relate and totally sympathise with your very valid concerns about visiting Walt Disney World Resort with this debilitating condition and I'd like to begin by reassuring you that there are many wonderful and thoughtful Services for Guests with Disabilities including those with Mobility Disabilities.
As the Disability Access Service is designed to accommodate all Guests who find it difficult to wait or stand in a traditional queue my daughter found it invaluable as the DAS allowed for the continuity of her personal pacing and as a family it allows us to enjoy the magic of Walt Disney World Resort together as one.
I'm also delighted to share that in my own personal experiences of applying over the yEars for the Disability Access Service for my teenaged daughter with CFS (which can easily be done by visiting any Disney Theme Park Guest Services location) that at present Guests are not required to provide any medical documents as proof of their condition or disability; a simple conversation with the Cast Member assisting is all that is currently necessary.
    Have a great Disney day.
