We are visiting and staying at WDW in May. My daughter is coeliac and I am wary of what we can get gluten free. Am I able to bring gluten free snacks in with us for her? she is 7.

    Greetings Jill,

How wonderful to hear you'll be visiting Walt Disney World Resort so soon! I'm sure your trip will be here before you know it.

Last year we visited with my step-dad who also needed gluten-free meals and snacks and we were surprised at how many options were available. At each restaurant the rest of us kept trying his food and it was all so good. I was really surprised with the delicious gluten-free pizza he ordered at Pizzafari in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. It was amazing! You are of course allowed to bring whatever snacks you would like for her from home, I just wanted you to know that you'll also be able to find treats for her in the parks and resorts as well.

Special Dietary Requests are not taken lightly at Walt Disney World Resort and they will do their best to accommodate.  If you have made any Advanced Dining Reservations, make sure you make a note of her allergy and a chef will come talk to you at your table. For quick-service locations, simply let a Cast Member know at the restaurant and they'll guide you through the options.

Have a wonderful vacation, Jill, and please let us know if there is anything else we are able to assist you with.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren
