Hi Donna!
Oh, I'm so jealous that you'll be visiting this July as you'll get to experience the brand new
Toy Story Land in Disney's Hollywood Studios right as it opens! You'll have to write back to let us know how cool it is.
I visited Walt Disney World Resort earlier this month and also ran into booking issues with the
Fantasmic! Dessert & VIP Viewing Experience. I learned in trying to reserve our package that
Dessert Events don't follow the standard '180 days dining reservation rule'. And through my research on the Disney Parks Moms Panel I've learned that each party opens its calendar for booking at a different time, too. Some open their reservation dates 90 days in advance, some at 60, and some will open all bookings for an entire month at once, but only once the 1st of that month is 60 days away.
Definitely keep checking back as I think your options haven't opened yet more than I think they are already booked solid. And bonus, there are actually two Happily Ever After Dessert Parties; the first is enjoying desserts at Tomorrowland Terrace then taking in the fireworks from a
reserved section of the plaza gardens in front of Cinderella Castle. The other is located all at
Tomorrowland Terrace and includes seating. So if one really is sold out, hopefully you'll snag a reservation at the other.
I hope this helped and We'll See You Real Soon, Donna!
