Welcome to planDisney, Ashlyn!
What a wonderful way to turn a work trip into a family adventure! Tagging along for a conference at Walt Disney World Resort is the perfect excuse to mix business with a whole lot of pleasure. Whilst your husband attends sessions and meetings, you and the kids can explore the resorts, snack your way through the parks, and soak up all the magic. Talk about living the dream—he works hard, and you all play harder!
The great news is that if you have a room-only reservation at a
Disney Resort hotel, you can upgrade to a vacation package that includes theme park tickets and a
Disney Dining Plan. Since dining plans can’t be added to room-only reservations on their own, the key is to modify your existing booking to a package. I believe the minimum stay required for adding a dining plan is 2 days. To explore your options or make the switch, you can log into your My Disney Experience account or call the Disney Reservation Center. A friendly Cast Member will be happy to help you sort out the details and find the best fit for your stay. With two dining plans to choose from—
Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan and
Disney Dining Plan—you’ll have plenty of flexibility based on how your family likes to dine.
A little tip from one Disney-loving parent to another: if you do opt for the dining plan, don’t miss the chance to book a character dining experience. It’s a fantastic way for the kids to meet their favourite pals without waiting in long queues. Breakfast at
Chef Mickey’s or lunch at
Tusker House are both crowd-pleasers.
I hope that's helpful, Ashlyn. Thanks for choosing to be our Guest.
