Hey there, Venesa! Enjoying the parks with friends and family is so much fun. I've had the opportunity to travel with extended family and friends, and we have the best time.
So here’s how parking will work for your friends who are staying offsite. Unfortunately, they won’t be able to park daily at your
Disney resort just to use transportation to the parks. Disney is pretty strict about resort parking, and it’s reserved for overnight guests or those with confirmed
dining reservations. They wouldn’t be able to pay for daily parking at
Disney's All-Star Movies just to leave their cars there.
Instead, they’ll need to park directly at the parks. Disney charges a daily parking fee for offsite guests, and the good thing is once they’ve paid for
parking at one park, they can park hop to another the same day without paying again. From there, they can use
Disney transportation (buses, boats, monorail, Skyliner) between parks and even meet you inside.
One option that sometimes works well for groups like yours is to coordinate meeting inside the park or at a central spot, like near the entrance of
Magic Kingdom or
EPCOT. That way, no one is stuck waiting around for transportation connections.
If they’d like to avoid driving every day, another option is to look into rideshare, like Lyft or Uber, which can pick up from off-site hotels and drop off right at the park entrances.
Have the best time, Vanesa, with your family and friends. Come visit us again if you have advanced dining reservations, Lightning Lane, or attraction questions. We'd love to help!
Toodles,
Korliss
