Hi, Julie! Welcome to planDisney!
One of the best things about
Disneyland Resort is that, no matter how old you are or what your interests may be, there really is something to appeal to everyone. Even though your family members will be heading in different directions during your theme park visit, there's no need to purchase your
park tickets separately.
You can go ahead and buy everyone's theme park tickets together. Once you've purchased your tickets, you'll also need to make
theme park reservations. When making your park reservations, you'll be able to select everyone in your travel party if you're all heading to the same park. However, if your husband and son want to explore
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in
Disneyland Park, but you and your daughter would rather visit
Disney California Adventure Park, you will have the ability to make different park reservations for different members of your family.
If you're planning to purchase the
Disney Genie+ service, that system also allows members of the same travel party to make different plans. You can buy the Disney Genie+ service for all of your family members at the same time. Then when it comes to making your
Lightning Lane selections for
attractions, you can select everyone in your group if you'll all be riding together, or you may book different Lightning Lanes for different people if you plan to split up.
Julie, I hope that everyone in your family gets to experience all of their Disneyland Resort must-dos.
