We are visiting soon as guests of a friend who belongs to the Disney Vacation Club. They will be covering the room charge, but must they also purchase our tickets, or can we purchase them ourselves? Also, do we all have to choose the same meal package?

    Hi Mary Gail,

You will love staying in any of the Disney Vacation Club villas.  I love bringing family and friends with us when we vacation.  You will be amazed by how spacious and lovely they are.  You are able to purchase your tickets online.  If you are interested in going to the Water Parks for the day, DVC members do save $4-5 dollars a ticket.  If your friends are purchasing the Disney Dining Plan, they will need to do so up to 48 hours prior to your vacation.  Every guest in the room must purchase the same Disney Dining Plan for the duration of the reserved stay, and this must be paid in full at the time of purchase.   There are three dining plans to choose from:  Disney Dining Plan which includes one Table Service Meal, 1 Quick Service meal and one snack a day with a refillable mug at your resort;  Quick Service Dining Plan which includes two Quick Service Meals a day and one snack and a mug; and Disney Deluxe Dining Plan which includes three Table Service Meals a day, two snacks, and a mug.  Please send me a follow up question if I can help you further, Mary Gail.  Have a magical vacation and enjoy the DVC villas.
