Hiya Erin,
Welcome back to planDisney! It is great to see you here again! I know last time we chatted about the water park benefit (I’m still crossing my fingers for an announcement that it will continue beyond just the Summer of 2026), but I’m really excited to chat about the
Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Party: Post Party.
Happily Ever After is my favorite nighttime spectacular, so when you take it and combine it with desserts, it will always be a win-win for me.
Speaking of a winning situation, Erin. I’m really excited to share with you that, according to the details of the event (found when you go to make a reservation) and confirmed with a Cast Member, your grandparents will be able to remain in their motorized scooter, wheelchair, or ECV, whichever they have with them. From my initial research, I have found that there is generally a separate space set aside for Guests with mobility devices, but I highly suggest confirming with the Cast Member upon arrival where that area will be.
I hope this was helpful, Erin! Before I let you go, as you continue planning your upcoming trip, I wanted to share with you a
guide that you may find helpful to help your grandparents navigate the theme parks. It provides strategies for determining which attractions allow them to stay in their scooters and which ones they will have to transfer, as well as other tips and tricks. It is a comprehensive guide, but if you have any additional questions after reviewing it, please feel free to come back and see us.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
