Yeehaw! It sounds like you are in for a rootin’ tootin’ time with your extended family.
I think you have a great plan. Utilizing the
Disney Genie+ service, you will have the flexibility to select different activities for different members of your party. For example, one subgroup could book a
Lightning Lane return time for
Space Mountain while another subgroup reserves a return time for another attraction such as
“It’s a small world.” You may manage all of the bookings from a single device that is logged in to an account that has all of the tickets linked. Or you may link the tickets to the accounts of various members of your party. Those other accounts could link all of the same tickets if you want them to be able to manage Genie+ reservations for everyone. Or they could link only the few tickets that they will want to manage for a particular subgroup.
When booking Lightning Lane return times, including
individual Lightning Lanes for attractions not included with Genie+, you will be given the option to include all of the tickets linked to the account being used. Or you may choose to mark the checkboxes for only the set of tickets for members of your party that will be enjoying that attraction. The
Disneyland mobile app will keep track of the eligibility of each ticket for booking new reservations. For example, a new Genie+ Lightning Lane reservation may be booked only if the previous return time has been redeemed OR 120 minutes have passed since that previous booking was made. So you won’t run the risk of double-booking a given ticket or easily canceling an outstanding reservation already made for a ticket.
