I am visiting with my son in October and we were looking forward to trying a 'dough bar' at Cookes of Dublin. However when I recently checked their menu it seems it has been removed. Do they still sell it or is there any other location that does? Thanks

Hi there, Deborah, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I had also heard that the delicious "Doh Bar," the deep-fried, chocolaty goodness at Cooke's of Dublin, had been removed from the menu. I decided to find out if this terrible rumor was true, so I called them. And oh, Deborah, what crushing news I received: according to the person I spoke to, the Doh Bar is indeed off the menu, with no plans of having it return.

There are some other options for sinfully sweet concoctions at Walt Disney World, though. Ghirardelli Ice Cream & Chocolate Shop at Downtown Disney has some truly blissful chocolate, ice cream sundaes and coffee drinks that are certainly worth a sampling. If you're feeling really adventurous, you can try to conquer the Kitchen Sink Sundae at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at Disney's Beach Club Resort.

One of my favorite resources for all things Disney dining is the Disney Food Blog. You'll find reviews, descriptions and just about everything you need to know about the all yummy offerings at Walt Disney World. They may be able to help you find something to drown your sorrows over the loss of the delectable Doh Bar.

I hope this helps in your planning, Deborah. If you have any more questions, please stop by and see us again. Happy eating!

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
