Hi! We are visiting my sister in Florida and she wants to buy our WDW tickets. Unfortunately, when we planned the trip, she was going to be off work and now she isn't. Can she still purchase our tickets or does she have to be present the park with us?

    Hi, Hannah!

I am sorry your sister cannot join you for your magical Walt Disney World vacation. Hopefully she can at least catch up with you to enjoy a nice dinner or dessert one night during your stay.

I am guessing your sister was planning on buying your theme park tickets using her Florida resident discount. Unfortunately, all guests must show proof of Florida residency at the park entrance when using a Florida resident ticket. Unless you are a Florida resident, you will not be able to use these discounted tickets.

There is still a great ticket offer that all guests can enjoy. You can purchase a 4 Park Magic Ticket for just $79 per guest per day. This ticket allows you to visit one theme park a day for 4 days. Read through the offer details for valid dates and offer expiration.

Good luck securing the perfect tickets for your family for your Walt Disney World vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
