I will be visiting my sister in Florida in May to help her out with her kids, ages 7 and 9. I have never been to Disney and would like to take the girls for 3-4 days. Can the kids get the Florida resident ticket price? I know I can't. Thanks! -J

How wonderful you are helping out your sister. Your nieces will have special memories for many years of the time their aunt took them to Walt Disney World.

As Florida residents your sister's children certainly qualify for the discounted Florida state tickets. The tickets must be bought by an adult 18 or older who can show proof of Florida residency. If your sister is traveling to the parks with you this will not be a problem. If your sister is not going with you she may pick up the tickets ahead of time in person. The Cast Member I spoke with said if your sister is not able to get the tickets in person so she may show her Florida id there is not a way to purchase discounted Florida resident tickets for the girls.

Please let me help you with any additional questions you might have planning your trip. Hope you and your nieces have an amazing, magical visit to Walt Disney World.
