We will be visiting in September this year with a 4 year old and a 2 year old. What dining options will my 2 year old have? I know as far as room and tickets she is free, but will she be included on the dining plan?

Hello Elizabeth.  Thank you for asking your question here on the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We love answering your planning questions!

Kids 3 and under can dine for free at Walt Disney World.  Your child will be able to share off of plates for free at any dining location throughout Walt Disney World.  If you are dining a an all-you-care-to-enjoy restaurant, you can make her her own plates at no extra charge.  We visited Walt Disney World several times before my daughter turned 4 and I loved that she could eat free.  My daughter was never really a big eater, it saved us a lot of money.  When booking dining reservations, I tried to be conscious of where we were eating and looked at the menus so I knew one of us would get something she would like.  We often times dined at a lot of buffets, when she was little, so she could have something of her very own.  If you would like to order your daughter something off of the children's menu or an a la carte menu then you would need to pay for it out of pocket.

Have a magical vacation.  If I can help you with any other questions you might have, please feel free to let me know.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
