We are visiting in September 2026. What time do buses start running from Disney Springs to Disney’s Coronado Springs resort?

    Hi Evelyn!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with a great question about Disney's complimentary resort transportation!  Walt Disney World Resort operates buses, boats, the Walt Disney World Monorail, and the Disney Skyliner to help Guests navigate the various parks, resorts, and entertainment destinations.  In fact, with so many different ways to move between destinations during our vacations, my kids tend to think of Disney transportation as another attraction to enjoy!

Evelyn, Disney Springs has become one of my favorite places to visit during each Walt Disney World vacation.  With the various retail locations, wonderful dining, and varied entertainment options, there's so much to see and do here that it can easily fill a day with fun when you're looking to take a break from the parks.  Typically, Disney Springs opens at 10:00 AM, but you can confirm the hours for the day of your visit by checking the Hours & Events Calendar closer to your trip.  Resort buses generally start picking up Guests from their hotels about 45 minutes before the scheduled opening time, so you'll be ready to start your day as soon as Disney Springs opens. Return service to Disney hotels operates from the time Disney Springs opens until approximately one hour after closing.

If you need a faster transportation option, you can also consider a Minnie Van or rideshare service.  While there is an additional cost to utilize these options, they have come in handy for my family when traveling directly between resorts or if we find ourselves pressed for time to make a dining or activity reservation.

During your time at Disney Springs, I hope you have a chance to visit Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' for lunch or dinner.  It's one of my favorite spots to eat when visiting Walt Disney World - mainly because of the Thigh High Chicken Biscuits!  They may be listed as an appetizer, but don't let that fool you. . .the large serving size can easily make this a meal.

I hope this information has been helpful, Evelyn, and that you enjoy your time in Walt Disney World later this year!  If you have any other questions as you prepare for your trip, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney!

    See ya real soon!
