Hi, I am visiting in September and staying at Carribean. I have a 4 and 1 y.o. and also inlaws. We requested a pirate water view with adjoining rooms. My MIL is handicap. Will these rooms take us too far away from food and what would be best choice?

Hi there Mary Anne!  It sounds like you have a wonderful vacation planned.

I was just at the Caribbean Beach Resort in December and I loved it!  So much fun for kids!

You are smart to think about proximity to the food area.  The Pirate rooms (SO FUN!) are located in the 'Trinidad South' section of the resort.  This is about a 10 minute walk to 'Old Port Royale Centertown' where you will find the food court and gift shops.

I would suggest you look into getting rooms in the 'Trinidad North' or 'Martinique' islands of the resort.  In  'Trinidad North', request section 31 or 'Martinique' request sections 25 or 26.  These will be 'preferred' priced rooms because they are close to Old Port Royal Centertown.

When you call reservations (407-WDISNEY), be sure to tell them about your mother-in-law's specific challenge and they will write your request on the reservation.  These are requests and not guarantees, so be sure to follow up at the time of check in - they will do the best they can to accommodate your request.

Mary Anne, have a wonderful family time together!
