Hi Kristin,
Making
advance dining reservations is my favorite part of planning a Walt Disney World vacation. Well before the 180-day mark, I start thinking about which old favorites and new experiences we want to add to our itinerary.
Normally you will find that the schedules for the theme parks, including
Extra Magic Hours, are released about 180 days in advance as well. In fact, I just checked and I can see park hours exactly 180 days ahead of today's date. Here's a little tip, though: I have found that Extra Magic Hours tend to follow a predictable pattern. So if you see morning Extra Magic Hours at Animal Kingdom on a Saturday earlier in September, for example, it's likely the schedule will be the same during your visit.
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kristin. Please let us know if we can help in any other way, including with recommendations for your vacation dining. You'll find lots of new restaurants have opened in the past few months, especially at
Disney Springs. So much yummy-ness to choose from. Enjoy!
Wilma
