We are visiting in September for the first time with my six year old son. I tried to get reservations at the Pirate League, but nothing is available that entire week. Do they allow time for walk-ins? Or should we ask the concierge at our resort for help?

    Ahoy there Bernadette!

I had similar challenges getting my daughter signed up for her magical transformation at The Pirates League for the end of September 2012. My guess is that the Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party dates are making this experience even more popular than usual as lots of children want to undergo makeovers just prior to attending the event. Therefore, it is highly unlikely that any walk-in appointments will be available.

I would recommend that you call daily to check for any new openings and especially about 48-72 hours prior to your hoped for reservation time as many people will cancel just about a day prior to their booking in order to avoid any cancellation fees. The Pirates League can be reached at (407) WDW-CREW or (407) 939-2739.

Sending much pixie dust your way that your son is able to enjoy this experience!
