Hello, Yolanda!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I’m happy to hear you plan to visit the
Disneyland Resort this fall with your toddler!
My two little ones have limited patience when it comes to waiting in one spot for a parade, so the dining packages work well for us. As foodies we also really enjoy the unique dining experiences they include! The
Plaza Inn Dining Package allows you to enjoy a hearty lunch plus reserved viewing on Main Street, U.S.A. for the Pixar Play Parade, and kids’ meals are also available. You’ll receive a voucher that provides access to a reserved viewing area for the parade, plus a festive Pixar-themed souvenir lanyard. My family watched from a curbside spot near Refreshment Corner and Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe. It was a great place to see the parade floats headed our way with a view of Sleeping Beauty Castle and Matterhorn Bobsleds in the background! There was ample space in the reserved area so my 2-year-old had an unobstructed view.
The high-energy Paint the Night parade is a dazzling nighttime entertainment option offering dining packages. My family’s favorite is the Wine Country Trattoria option, which includes a full-service 3-course meal of California- and Mediterranean-inspired dishes. At the end of the meal your server will give each of you a voucher to enter a Paint the Night reserved viewing area later that evening so you can spend more time enjoying the park! Again, if you arrive at or prior to the return time listed on your voucher, you’re likely to snag a spot where your child can see the parade floats without being carried by an adult.
I hope this helps, Yolanda. Please ask any other questions you may have as you continue to make your pixie-dusted plans!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
