We will be visiting Sept 2019 with a 5 and 1 year old at All Star Movies. I understand that my 5 y/o will have a magic band. Will my 1 y/o? I know he won’t be included in DDP or FP, but was hoping he would be getting a band (for souvenir purposes).

    Hi Angie!

Thanks for coming by to see us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so happy that you are planning a visit to Walt Disney World Resort with your family this year! There are so many new and exciting things headed to Walt Disney World Resort in 2019 that this is the perfect time to visit. Be sure to consider adding Memory Maker to your trip so you can capture and save all of the magical memories you make together as a family!

One of my favorite benefits of staying at a Disney Resort hotel is complimentary MagicBands. MagicBands make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation so convenient and easy as they will give you access to your theme park tickets, FastPass+ reservations, Memory Maker account and Disney Resort hotel room with just the touch of your MagicBand. All Guests on your Disney Resort hotel reservation will receive complimentary MagicBands. So as long as your little one is listed on your reservation, your littlest Mouseketeer will receive a MagicBand for your trip!

My son got his first MagicBand when he was one year old and I can tell you from experience that he loved having a MagicBand just like everyone in the family. Plus, since MagicBands are adjustable, you should be able to adjust it to fit his tiny wrists!

Let us know if you have additional questions as you continue planning your magical vacation. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
