We will be visiting from Sept 20-27. My 4 year old son absolutely loves the monorail. He has said he wants to be a Monorail driver when he grows up. Are there any special experiences we can take him to that are related to the Monorails?

I'd make sure and plan to ride the monorail from the Ticket and Transportation Center to Epcot; it is the longest, continuous monorail ride with incredible views of Future World at Epcot.  When you arrive at the loading platform, you will want to share with a cast member that you'd like to ride up front so your son can be the monorail pilot and that you are more than willing to wait.  You will be directed to a special waiting area to wait your turn.

Have your camera ready and make sure and share your son's story.  We've had different experiences when we've ridden up front:  free Mickey stickers, photo ops with our children in the driver's seat, and even a certificate.  However, each one has always been memorable, and I'd wish the same for your son.

By the way, you can ask to sit up front for any of the monorail routes!
